This End User License Agreement (“Agreement”) is a legal contract between you (“you” or “User”) and Reelate LLC (“Reelate,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Agreement governs your access to and use of the Reelate mobile application, websites, and related services (collectively, the “App” or “Services”).

BY DOWNLOADING, INSTALLING, ACCESSING, OR USING THE APP, YOU AGREE TO THIS AGREEMENT. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, DO NOT USE THE APP.

1. Definitions

  • “User Content” means any content you submit or make available through the App, including reviews, ratings, comments, lists, profile text, images, usernames, and other materials.

  • “Objectionable Content” means content that violates this Agreement or is otherwise inappropriate for the App, including the categories listed in Section 5.

  • “Abusive Behavior” means harassing, threatening, hateful, predatory, exploitative, deceptive, or otherwise harmful conduct as described in Section 5.

2. License Grant and Restrictions

2.1 License

Subject to this Agreement, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to install and use the App for your personal, non-commercial use.

2.2 Restrictions

You may not (and may not assist others to):
(a) copy, modify, or create derivative works of the App;
(b) reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except where permitted by law;
(c) sell, rent, lease, sublicense, distribute, or otherwise transfer the App;
(d) interfere with or disrupt the App or its security features;
(e) use the App for illegal, harmful, or abusive purposes;
(f) scrape, harvest, or collect data from the App (including user information) without our written permission.

3. Accounts and Eligibility

3.1 Age Requirements

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required to consent to use online services in your jurisdiction) to use the App. If you are under 18, you represent that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for all activity under your account and for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You agree to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.

3.3 Accuracy

You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information and not to impersonate anyone.

3.4 Account Deletion

You may delete your account in the App (if available) or by contacting us at support@reelate.app.

4. User-Generated Content Overview

The App allows Users to create and share User Content. You are solely responsible for your User Content and your interactions with other Users.

We do not endorse User Content, and User Content may be inaccurate, offensive, or otherwise objectionable. However, Reelate enforces a strict zero-tolerance policy for Objectionable Content and Abusive Behavior as described below.

5. Community Standards (ZERO TOLERANCE)

5.1 No Tolerance for Objectionable Content or Abusive Users

Reelate has NO TOLERANCE for Objectionable Content or Abusive Behavior. We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts at any time for violations.

5.2 Prohibited Content and Conduct

You may not post, upload, transmit, or share any User Content, and you may not engage in any conduct, that:

(a) Harassment, bullying, threats, or hate

  • Harasses, bullies, stalks, intimidates, threatens, or encourages violence against any person or group

  • Includes hateful or discriminatory content based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, or other protected characteristics

(b) Sexual content and exploitation

  • Contains pornography or explicit sexual content

  • Sexualizes minors in any way, or facilitates exploitation, grooming, or trafficking

  • Depicts or promotes non-consensual sexual content

(c) Self-harm or dangerous activity

  • Encourages or promotes self-harm, suicide, eating disorders, or dangerous challenges

  • Provides instructions intended to facilitate harm

(d) Illegal activity or harmful instructions

  • Promotes illegal activity or provides instructions for wrongdoing

  • Violates applicable laws or regulations

(e) Privacy violations and doxxing

  • Shares personal or confidential information (e.g., phone numbers, addresses, private messages, ID documents) without permission

  • Doxxes, blackmails, or extorts others

(f) Impersonation, deception, and scams

  • Impersonates any person or entity, or misrepresents your affiliation

  • Attempts to scam, defraud, phish, or mislead Users

(g) Spam and manipulation

  • Posts spam, repetitive content, or manipulates engagement (fake reviews, coordinated abuse, or artificial activity)

(h) Intellectual property infringement

  • Infringes copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights

(i) Anything else we deem harmful

  • Is otherwise unlawful, abusive, harmful, or inappropriate for the App, in our reasonable judgment.

5.3 Child Safety Notice

Any content involving sexual exploitation of minors is strictly prohibited. We may report apparent violations to appropriate authorities and organizations, including where legally required.

6. Reporting, Blocking, Filtering, and Moderation

6.1 Reporting

If you see Objectionable Content or Abusive Behavior, you agree to report it using our in-app reporting tools (for example, “Report” buttons) or by contacting us at support@reelate.app.

6.2 Blocking

You can block other Users through the App (if available). Blocking is intended to help protect you from unwanted interactions. We may also use block/report signals to prioritize review.

6.3 Filtering and Enforcement

To prevent abuse, we use a combination of measures which may include automated detection, user reports, manual review, and account limitations (e.g., for new or flagged accounts). Enforcement actions may include:
(a) content removal or visibility limitation;
(b) warnings;
(c) temporary suspensions;
(d) permanent account termination;
(e) device/IP restrictions where appropriate;
(f) reporting to authorities where required or appropriate.

6.4 Response Time

We aim to review and act on reports as quickly as possible, and typically within 24 hours. Some cases may require additional investigation.

6.5 No Guarantee

Despite these safeguards, we cannot guarantee that all Objectionable Content will be prevented or removed immediately.

7. Your Content: Ownership, License, and Responsibility

7.1 Ownership

You retain ownership of your User Content as between you and Reelate.

7.2 License to Reelate

By submitting User Content, you grant Reelate a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, transferable license to host, store, cache, reproduce, modify (for formatting and display), publicly display, publicly perform, distribute, and otherwise use your User Content for the purpose of operating, improving, and promoting the App and Services.

7.3 Your Responsibilities

You represent and warrant that:
(a) you have all rights necessary to post the User Content; and
(b) your User Content and conduct comply with this Agreement and applicable law.

8. Intellectual Property

Except for User Content, the App and all associated content, software, design, and branding are owned by Reelate or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. No rights are granted except as expressly stated in this Agreement.

9. Third-Party Services and Content

The App may display or link to third-party content and services (e.g., movie/TV metadata providers such as TMDB and streaming availability links). Third-party services are not controlled by Reelate, and your use of them may be subject to third-party terms and policies.

10. Privacy

Your use of the App is subject to our Privacy Policy: https://reelate.app/privacy-policy (or any successor URL we publish). By using the App, you consent to our data practices described there.

11. App Store Platform Terms (Apple / Google)

If you downloaded the App from Apple’s App Store, Google Play, or another platform, you also agree to comply with that platform’s applicable terms.

Apple-specific terms (if you use iOS):
(a) This Agreement is between you and Reelate, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App.
(b) Reelate, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App, including product liability claims, claims that the App fails to conform to legal requirements, and claims under consumer protection laws.
(c) Apple and Apple’s subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this Agreement and may enforce it against you.

12. Disclaimers

THE APP AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF OBJECTIONABLE CONTENT.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REELATE AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP.

IN NO EVENT WILL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) $100 USD; OR (B) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US (IF ANY) IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

14. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Reelate and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses (including attorneys’ fees) arising from or related to: (a) your use of the App; (b) your User Content; or (c) your violation of this Agreement or applicable law.

15. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you violated this Agreement or created risk or potential legal exposure for us or other Users.

You may stop using the App at any time and may delete your account as described in Section 3.4.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including Sections 5–7 and 12–17.

16. Changes to This Agreement

We may update this Agreement from time to time. We will post the updated version at https://reelate.app/eula (or a successor URL) and may notify you in the App or by email. Your continued use of the App after the effective date of an updated Agreement means you accept the updated terms.

17. General Terms

17.1 Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to conflict of laws principles.

17.2 Severability

If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

17.3 No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.

17.4 Entire Agreement

This Agreement, together with the Privacy Policy and any platform terms that apply, is the entire agreement between you and Reelate regarding the App.
